Not the newest editon to the Maxi Cosi High-back booster range, but a firm favourite for many. High-backed boosters are all very similar, however the key feature for the Rodi range for me is that its narrow in the base, making it a great option for when fitting 3 seats in a row. Its also slight cut out at the bottom corner, leaving extra space to access the seat belt buckle, another great feature when fitting 3 in a row.
High backed boosters are suitable from 100cm. Since they use the cars seat belt over the child, it is imperitive that the child can sit still for the duration of the journey. If they wriggle, the seat belt will not be correctly placed across their body and therefore will not secure them as intended should an accident occur. For this reason, we recommend waiting until 4-5yrs old before moving to a high backed booster seat such as the Maxi Cosi RodiFix. Before this, your child is safest in a 5-point harness and rear facing.
